Siskiyou Golden Fair

My kids won't let me forget that the fair is here! It is all Jeffrey is talking about and Grace has so many friends that are showing she can hardly stand not being up there with them...especially her bestest friend.

This year I had planned on putting a couple pictures in as well as my starghan..but with the little one's early coming I didn't pay attention to the deadline. Thankfully Grace was able to get her most favorite cake in the world in on time. She is eager to see if she placed..but honestly was so happy to just have an entry this year.

So we are spending tomorrow at the fair and Jeffrey keeps wanting to know how much longer..he just can't stand it! I am not a big fair person..it is one of those things that was just so much more fun with Jeff...for me anyway..the kids have no memory of that..they just want to go. So till tomorrow.

Meeting family

My folk's made the trip this weekend to meet Lil' David...my Dad's namesake. It has been a nice quiet weekend and Cassie has been able to rest a bit. Here are a couple pictures of David with his Great Grandparents.

I would like to introduce David Ray Roley he came two weeks early and weighed in at 5 lbs 8 oz. and is 19" long. Cassie stayed true to her plan and did not have any meds of any kind and after contracting for a week had lightening fast labor. Her water broke at 11:30 pm...She hit transition by 1 am and delivered David an hour after we arrived at the hospital at 2:50 am. Oh and yes...I am a proud Mom...one big push! She was awesome! Shauna was an incredible coach! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Grace and Ashton were there as planned and they loved the whole experience. It was just GREAT!!!

For now after having little sleep...zzzz I will post more later.

Urgent Prayer Request

We need urgent prayer for four little boys who were kidnapped in Africa..for what they believe child trafficking. My heart breaks for these little guys..imagine your own children. It is unacceptable! >>PLEASE READ AND PRAY<<

Playmates

When the kids are outside even though Cassie and I were also..the dogs are never far from them. It's the working dog in them..they have to keep track of the kids. I love it!

Beware of Dog??

We made a quick run to Medford today to pick up a crib. And while up there came across this! Yes that is a horse in a front yard..actually there were two horses. Cassie had asked me as we were leaving why I always bring my camera..I proceeded to tell her that if I don't I always wish I had so it's just easier to have it with me. Needless to say...Case and Point made today.

Ranch Camp

Just wanted to share a few pictures from yesterday. Grace loves this camp and everyone there. She was awarded the Goof Ball award in her cabin for always bringing a smile or laugh to everyone. Her counselor told me that Grace has a great ability to make everyone feel welcome and happy. She has always been this way and we give God all the glory for that. She loves the Lord and wants to be like him.

Pick up Day at Kidder Creek Orchard Camps

So yesterday was pick up day at Kidder Creek. I took Ashton along as a surprise for Grace and boy was it! It was darn cute to see them run into each other's arms. And, Jeffrey was overjoyed to see his Grace..who doesn't love to see their kids love each other like that!?

The kids all had a blast trying to catch fish ...bare handed mind you..they also were after dragonflies, and playing in the stream. For me I had a blast catching it all with the camera!
