Something on my heart

To say I have been moved after reading a post about a children's prison in Uganda. Well, I tear up at the thought of it. It is something that is taring at my heart. My dear friend just came home from mission trip to Uganda to love on and serve the people over there. The blog post from their visit to "M" made this gal sob. Why are they imprisoning children? how are we letting this happen? How are we as Christians letting there be orphans in this world? How are we letting one person anywhere go hungry, cold, sick and alone?

Please take the time to read about "M" here

And you can read about the ladies mission trip here

I am thankful that.....

In a week my dear friend will be home from Africa with her newest addition! Love you Sha! Looking forward to getting to know Isaiah and being able to love on him. Please continue to pray as they still need to get the visa.

We serve a mighty God who brought this wonderful family all the way to Africa to a little guy named Isaiah, who now will be with his forever family for his first Thanksgiving! How awesome is that!?

Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples!
Sing to him, sing praises to him;
tell of all his wondrous works!
