Kidder Creek Slide Show

Kidder Creek

Well, we picked up Grace on Friday from Kidder Creek. I am so happy to have my little girl home again! She had such a great time although cried when we left not for the friends she made but for the horse she fell in love with while there. She and Shep got along great and she is becoming quite the little rider! So..since she has been home she has been sending me emails of horses for sale! Oh how I wish I could get her one! For now we will have to be thankful for a week each summer at Kidder Creek and playing with Cricket at the Vaughan's!

I should mention what an incredible program they have there. You can really feel the Lord at work in Greenview. The staff is just amazing!! Grace is counting down the years until she can become a "WIT" (Wrangler In Training). I encourage everyone to pray for Kidder Creek and the staff..they are truly doing the Lords work there!

Weddng Planning

Well, we are 41 days away from the big day! I will tell you at one point in my life I would have just been all over this! Since losing Jeff and becoming a single parent..time is not what it used to be. Having a husband around made doing things like this so much easier, more enjoyable and easier on the pocketbook. I am overwhelmed at everything that goes into planning such a special day. I want this wedding to be just what Cassie envisioned and with only 31 days before family starts arriving I still have a lot to do. For me other than the wedding itself it is all about the pictures. I am looking forward to scrapbooking them!

Our next big wedding event is the Bridal Shower given by Shauna on August 16th, 2008. I am really looking forward to that day..we will be two weeks from the wedding at that point and it will be the start of a very fun and busy two weeks!

Breast Cancer

A very dear friend of mine was just diagnosed with breast cancer last week. Today she had a mastectomy. She is an amazing friend, mother, wife and person! A woman with a tough road ahead of her. There are many of us that love her and we will all be there for her no matter what lies ahead. My prayers are with this friend and her family, I know all too well how cancer can throw you a curve.
